Update 03-16-03: Third Update! The next page of Nyamo is up, and the website is more or less settling into its final form... or rather, it's finally starting to look clean. Enjoy today's comic! Every Sunday, Nyamo - The Girl From Across the Sea is updated. This is the actual, full page comic about Nyamo attending North Eastern JC.
The site is also updated every Thursday. Usually, this update is an Original Nyamo strip. Original Nyamo is a Four-Panel (top to bottom, much like this site in general) gag strip. Just a cute thing done for a quick laugh. If there isn't an Original Nyamo strip, then a random update, such as a character portrait or an artistic illustration, will be put up.

Nyamo… Ah, Nyamo, Nyamo… How many hours have I spent on thee?

Recently, I was asked the question, what about the
Love Hina character, Nyamo? Why do they have the same name? My answer to that is
what's in a name? Actually, what they should be asking is "what about that character in Azumanga Diaoh?" That Nyamo is actually prominent through out the series… but it was
not because of these characters that I decided to name Nyamo, Nyamo; it was because it was different, and of ambiguous origination.
Nyamo, what else can be said about the name? It's just a cool name... and the character's a hip little chick, so why not give her a cool name and make her cooler? I suppose mostly, the name just looked right with the character, the name's capricious sounding, and the character looks capricious... the name fits with the character, and the character fits with the name. It's a good deal, so that's what we went with.
Perhaps if I had heard something else that was just as pleasing to the ear, I would have used it, but I didn't. Besides the name has a kind of cute, cool ring to it. Say it with me people, "Nyamo." So, Nyamo's name is just Nyamo's name, is what I guess I'm trying to stay. Get used to it, friends, Nyamo's here to stay.

Well, I suppose you're wondering how Anthony and I are going to continue this story in which not a single male character has appeared. Nyamo, Original Nyamo, Roxy, Roxy's friend (well, they'll appear really soon anyway)... hehe... well... we've got a secret weapon! Let me introduce you to Pij, my main consultant in color choosing, advisor, supplier of random stories, and, most importantly (especially to me), a real girl.

I'm Pij, the girl in this group who randomly adds her two cents worth. Honestly, I think I'm much better at ranting than Jed ever will be just cuz I've had soo much more practice.
Anyways. I'm totally excited to be involved in this comic. I feel justified in adding my random comments even though I really haven't done much for this comic other than trying to help out with the webdesign. So you're probably wondering what gives me the right to even say anything when I really haven't done anything for the comic... well... that's not completely true. Jed has a habit of stealing my interesting life stories and passing them off as his own... even to my friends, so they think I'm just a biter when I actually
get around to telling them my stories. *Sigh* I guess that's what happens when I talk too much. Anyhow, some of Nyamo's future stories are taken straight out of my life. I'll let you know when that happens so you won't be fooled by Jed and Anthony taking full credit for ideas that were are actually real moments from my life.
By the way... If anyone can think of a cool font color for me to use... please let me know... I feel like blue's over done and Jed and Anthony took the last remaining colors worth having... O well... I mean... I suppose I could just use a girly color...
