Nyamo is updated... look forward to a great Original Nyamo on Thursday!
Every Sunday, Nyamo - The Girl From Across the Sea is updated. This is the actual, full page comic about Nyamo attending North Eastern JC.
The site is also updated every Thursday. Usually, this update is an Original Nyamo strip. Original Nyamo is a Four-Panel (top to bottom, much like this site in general) gag strip. Just a cute thing done for a quick laugh. If there isn't an Original Nyamo strip, then a random update, such as a character portrait or an artistic illustration, will be put up.

Well, the rants are back! Yay! And I've gotta a lot to say since I haven't ranted for the last 3 (or 4) weeks. First of all, anime is good... I watch lots of it. In fact I hardly ever watch TV except for Smallville and Angel... yeah every now and then a sporting event like the NBA playoffs or the World Series, but usually I'm more of a reader or worker... not too big on TV I guess. Anyway, yeah been getting in some Inu Yasha lately, great stuff, been watching Cyborg 009, too. Again, good stuffs. Gate Keepers, I wanna know what happened to Shun but... still hanging on. Now lately, I have been finding comics alot more interesting, and I think that's kinda a downer... I mean, animation has always been a passion of mine, but now I find myself become more drawn to sequential art... so I've been thinking is there anyway to do something in between? Unfortunatley I haven't come up with an answer... I think that flash animation might be something like what I have in mind, but I'm not sure yet Hmmm, does this rant have to do with anything? Anyway, if anyone has any thing they think would help me out feel free to write about in the forum or send an email! Till next time.

I'm doing a pretty sucky job at doing this, huh? Poor update last Sunday (no rants, links to the "big" update and stuff), no update Thursday, and stuff on top of stuff. I apologize, but I'm going to stop making excuses. Sadly I can't promise it won't happen again, but I will promise that I didn't mean it to happen and it won't happen again for a while at least. Also... we've been putting a lot of effort back into Original Nyamo so look for the new and improved version this Thursday. Finally, Original Nyamo is standardized and up to par... I hope.
What I really want to talk about for my rant is is Matrix Reloaded. But I won't, for the sake of not spoiling it at all for others. What I will talk about is something that's been a nice distraction for me recently, Ranma 1/2 MP3s.
I don't like the Anime Music as of late and I think that I d=finally realize why: I'm not into the pop stuff today. It's too serious, not enough fun. Which led me to listen to my old anime music... and eventually to Ranma. And eventually led me to download, err... legally purchase I mean, all the Ranma Soundtracks. They're so much fun!!!
The songs are very non-modern and are pretty folky. But they're funny and sung, for the most part, by the VAs from the series. I love the spoofs done on the opening and closing songs by character VAs (Little Date sung by Cologne and Sentarou's grandmother; Piece of Love by Mousse's HORRIBLE sounding band; Haikei Shampoo), creative songs like the one man duo performed by Ranma, and funny songs like Hahahaha sung by Principal Kuno. It's really just... so... great. *sigh* Sad to think, songs like those are my true taste.
