Update 06-08-03: Nyamo is updated... sorry this was a week late, but we do what we can. Anyways, enjoy... But first...
Every Sunday, Nyamo - The Girl From Across the Sea is updated. This is the actual, full page comic about Nyamo attending North Eastern JC.
The site is also updated every Thursday. Usually, this update is an Original Nyamo strip. Original Nyamo is a Four-Panel (top to bottom, much like this site in general) gag strip. Just a cute thing done for a quick laugh. If there isn't an Original Nyamo strip, then a random update, such as a character portrait or an artistic illustration, will be put up.

HA HA HA... finished drawing part 1 of Nyamo! YES! Ha ha ha... Well we are gearing up for Con and I've a bountious list of tasks for writing, drawing, etc. etc. I don't need no sleep. Anyway, also cooking up plans for an import video game store. Garage kits too. Anyway thanks for your continued support and for all those who may want to donate, check out our web store on the Aswembar main site, and thanks to pay pal you can and recieve some wonderful gifts for showing us your good side (and your wallet's) Check it out! Other than that... Naruto, good good good stuff, you NEED to see this show or read the book to brush up on your literature, it's a great story and has great characters. I highly recommend it to pass the slow hours of your day with much satisfaction.

Class choosing is the subject of the comic today and of my rant today. Class choosing really differs from person to person. I remember the first time I signed up for university classes... it was during orientation and the orientation leaders literally watched over you and forced you to do it well. Upon finishing, a counselor would look over the schedule and discuss it with you. It was... nope, no other way to describe it. It was just plain annoying. Not only that, but looking around, half the people around me wouldn't be able to sign up for any of the classes they chose due to low-priority in sign-up times, and another fourth of the remainders would end up dropping their classes.
College claims to give you the power to choose when you want to go to school as long as you're willing to take stupid classes. Sure, you can start school at 3PM... as long as you're willing to be a poli sci major or want to take 20 years to graduate. If you want a science major... those classes start at 8AM or 7PM. Why? Probably beause science majors are the only ones really dedicated enough to force torture upojn themselves and actually show up at classes, even at inconvienient times. So for all you high schoolers out there, the 'free-time' university life is a completely lie... just the 'staying up till 3' part is true.
Nowadays, I plan my classes out as I sign up for them. The only checking I do is ask a friend if the teacher was hard or easy. And even if they say he was hard, sometimes I'll sign up anyway. And if my classes end up conflicting, who cares? There's always 4 weeks to drop, no penalty. So when you go to college, remember, sign up for anything that sounds interesting... if you don't like it, you can always drop. And that's the way it is for me. (even though I say all this, if I didn't get to sign up for classes three days before most of my class, I'd probably be saying differently... same thing if you asked me in person... online personas tend to act very snotty...)
