Hello, all you ladies and germs out there, how're y'all doing? Let's hope you're all doing well, for I am doing great (probably). Let's see where to begin... I was born in Long Beach, CA (fo' shizzy) and have always been drawing. It became my goal to become a cartoonist in 5th or 6th grade.
In middle school I began watching anime and collecting comics, and have stayed pretty faithful to these hobbies even in recent years, and even when I didn't have a job. Anyone can tell I've got an anime influenced style. And as my career goals I'd like to a. get Studio Ghibli to make a film from one of my stories, or b. to write and draw a Batman story. Either way, I'm sure I'll have lots of fun in the cartooning field. Currently, I reside in San Diego, CA, and can speak partial Japanese, and am studying for a B.A. in English and following that, hopefully a doctorate. I'm hoping that Nyamo will continue for years to come, and I hope you all enjoy seeing it as much as I enjoy drawing it.

Yo, I'm Jed, one of the co-authors of Nyamo... but I'll have you know I'm more involved than most other "second-billed" coauthors, hehe. I contribute equally with story ideas, I edit the actual comics, and I'm in charge of the web design (which, by the way, is somewhat similar to the emperor's new clothes - if you don't like it, it's cuz you're not enlightened. Just kidding... I'm a computer science major, so I have some kind of right to be artistically challenged.)
And yeah, Jed is a pseudonymn. Why not use my real name? Umm... it's not because I don't want my name tied to this, of course not ^_^;;. And it's not because of an ego so big I need multiple personalities just to contain it! (honest...) It's because... umm... pseudonymns are fun... yeah... Anyways, I developed it in 9th grade or so... and that would be in 1997 or 1998 or something. Under this pseudonymn I've befriended many, created a few websites (zanbatou storehouse, kareshi kanojo no jijou: jade in the rough), scanlated manga (kareshi kanojo no jijou), and camped out in many a forum. So, more or less... this is just who I am online.
Honestly, I'm just a starving student at UCSD with a bit too much free time, the desire to create, and the desire to help his friends succeed. So... yup, that's my introduction. Technically, I'm not a co-author or any other sort of author. But once again... I feel the need to add my random thoughts.
So Pij isn't really my name. In fact, if you look at my pseudo-last name... you'll realize that I'm just a bird brain leaving her doody on a perfectly good website. I can't help it. I didn't make up the name... it was given to me by some friends who are unfortunately lacking in the nice nickname department. I've had the name for nearly half my life although it wasn't always spelled this way. I just thought it would be fun to misspell my own name.
BTW... when Jed claims to be a starving student at UCSD... he LIES!!! He's always at my place eating up my precious supply of goodies, but honestly, it's okay... cuz he makes me food most of the time. It really isn't my fault that I'm a deplorable cook who's much more likely to light the kitchen on fire than come up with anything edible that isn't out of a can. Hmmm.... when I think about it. There isn't ANYTHING that I can cook that isn't straight out of a can or box of instant stuff.
Anyways... you guys should all meet Jed and Anthony. They both entertain me endlessly... probably cuz everything amuses me... (but that's a different subject). Anthony is incredibly laid back... I don't think I've ever met anyone who's as laid back as him... so it honestly is amazing to find him owning a studio and working like crazy to fund it. You've got to admire a dream... I'm more of a person who just kinda wanders life with no goals in mind so I find it really amazing to be as dedicated as him. Jed, on the
otherhand, is a genius who just takes life one day at a time and seems to have an endless amount of good luck.
O yeah... for those who are wondering about my vital stats... I'm 5'3" (an inch shorter than nyamo). I love food... although somehow, I end up being picky. I like travelling, dancing, reading, playing tetris, shopping for things online (that I NEVER buy), and just causing chaos. For those of you who are wondering about my birthday... I celebrate it year-round so you can send me presents whenever you want. Wellz... technically, my birthday's egg-zactly two weeks after nyamo's... so if you feel like celebrating her birthday, send me the present too. =)
